General Benefit Information
1. Insurance
A healthy employee is a more productive
employee. Therefore, TSM provides medical benefits with drug
prescription and dental plans. We also provide life insurance with
an optional enrollment in a voluntary life insurance plan for
additional coverage.
2. Flexible Spending Account Program
The Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAP) allows employees to
use pretax dollars to pay for Internal Revenue Service-qualified
benefits. Currently, these include TSM's health and dental
insurance.
3. 401(k) Plan
TSM’s 401(k) plan allows employees to save for their retirement on a
pretax basis. As an added incentive to save for retirement, TSM
makes a matching contribution.
4. Child and Dependent Care Expenses
This plan permits employees to use pretax funds to pay child or
dependent care expenses.
5. Holiday Pay
TSM provides paid holidays for employees annually.
6. Vacations
Vacation is accrued for every hour paid the employee from the
date of employment. The accrual rate is determined by the number of
in-service years.
7. Sick Leave
TSM employees earn sick leave per year. Sick leave is composed of
two segments: primary sick leave and secondary sick leave. Secondary
sick leave is intended for use when an employee is sick for more
than three consecutive days.
