Trident Modification Support

TSM Corporation has provided Trident Fleet Support services since 1993. The mission support functions include modification support, logistics support, security support, problem reporting and resolution support, operational and tactical deployments, periodic in-port maintenance, Command and Control System modernization, major shipyard overhauls, post-shipyard operational testing and certification, Trident Training Facility installations and modernization, and ship mission conversion.

Elements of the modification support effort include:

• Review and comment on all modification documentation
• Assess the installation, logistics, and configuration requirements of all modifications
• Develop and track modification kit material requirements and determine delivery schedules
• Receive discrete modification kit material, validate configuration, bar-code and assemble kits for each designated installation site, and stage for delivery
• Maintain on-line, local area network-accessible modification kit inventories
• Coordinate installation schedules to meet tactical and operational requirements
• Provide kit staging status reports and identify problems or shortfalls that might impact installation schedules
• Install or witness pre-installation testing, installations, and post-installation testing to certify performance at the latest configuration
• Provide technical assistance to resolve installation, testing, or logistics problems associated with the modification
• Provide feedback reporting modification problems for correction in subsequent installations
• Provide installation completion reports to update configuration status accounting
